Pack Walk at Carlos Creek Winery
May 5th @ 4 pm

pack.jpg

We’re leading a Pack Walk every other week on the gorgeous grounds at Carlos Creek Winery!

Walks are an opportunity for trained dogs to practice their skills in a controlled setting. They will begin at 4:00 pm. We'll meet at the small white Gazebo by the Bocce Courts and walk, with dogs in a Heel, for about 20 minutes on a trail through the 200 acre vineyards & grounds.

There is no cost to attend!

RULES OF THE PACK ARE:

- Dogs must know the heel command and be able to perform it with some distractions in order to attend. Dogs must be leashed at all times on winery property. Retractable leashes will not be allowed.

- Pack walks are NOT play dates for the dogs. Walks are an opportunity for trained dogs to practice their skills in a controlled setting. Dogs will not be allowed to meet each other during the walks. Owners will be responsible for keeping a safe distance between dogs.

- Owners must pick up after themselves and their dogs. Please bring poop bags to each walk! Owners will also need to bring water/a bowl for their dogs.

- Dogs are not allowed in the buildings on the property. Please invite a friend to help with your dog if you plan to visit the restrooms, gift shop, tasting room, brewery, or restaurant before or after the walks!

Not sure if your dog is ready? Schedule a free evaluation with a pack dog from Off Leash K9 Training, Central MN (cassie@olk9centralmn.com). Dogs that have completed the first 3 basic obedience lessons with Off Leash are invited to attend.
