Homemade Sage Tea

The mixture of the warm tea, and sage’s relaxing properties make it an excellent choice for the evening hours

What You Need:

  • 6 cups water

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 10 cloves

  • 8 cardamom pods

  • Handful of fresh sage leaves

  • Handful of fresh mint leaves


  1. In a medium sized pot, bring the water to a boil.

  2. Add in the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and cloves to the pot, and allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Remove it from the heat and add in the sage and mint. Cover it and let it sit for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Strain the mixture and serve hot.

  5. You can add honey if you desire a bit of sweetness, but skip the refined sugar to ensure the integrity of the immune boosting properties.
