Area yoga studios will conduct six yoga sessions for yogis of all skill levels over the three-day event Friday, April 26 through April 28 at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. This includes Hoppy Hour Yoga—a session featuring more than 30 therapy bunnies. The bunnies are provided by the Minnesota Companion Bunny Society, a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion rabbits.

"I've seen the Hoppy Hour Yoga in action and it's cuteness overload," Ruttger's President Chris Ruttger stated in a news release. "We're sure people are going to love it."

The Lakes Area Yoga Festival begins Friday with an "Unpack Your Bags" yoga session and welcome gathering on Friday evening. The bulk of the festival takes place Saturday, however, with four sessions, lunch, snacks and a vendor expo for the latest gear and yoga merchandise. The yoga festival ends Sunday with a "Leave it at the Lake" yoga session.

Admission for the event is $65 per person. This gets participants into all yoga sessions, and includes lunch and snacks on Saturday. People interested in attending, can sign up or get more information at www.ruttgers.com/spring-yoga-expo.

Classes will be led by instructors from Karmady Yoga of Aitkin, Lakes Area Yoga Association of Brainerd and Uplifted Wellness Studio of Crosby.
